A devastating tragedy in Grand Haven Township has left a Michigan community mourning after authorities said a father killed his wife and six children inside their family home before setting several fires.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office identified the father as 47-year-old Kristopher Karolkiewicz. Authorities said Karolkiewicz shot and killed his wife, 39-year-old Amanda Karolkiewicz, and their six children at the family’s home on Riverside Trail. Investigators believe he also started multiple fires inside the residence following the shootings.
